How do outdoor wood boiler systems work?
Essentially, water is heated within the outdoor boiler and then circulated through insulated underground pipes into the home. A heat exchanger then transfers heat to a furnace, a hot water tank or in-floor radiant heating system.
How easy would it be to replace our current heating system with a boiler system?
You don’t need to replace what you already have – you can supplement it. If you heat with oil, propane/natural gas or electric, an outdoor wood boiler can work in conjunction with that. We can design a system that would work for you.
